Thanksgiving and Pre-Christmas

November went by so quickly!  The kids' daycare had a Thanksgiving lunch for parents, and here is Sydney in her Pilgrim hat.

I took Sydney to a sibling class at the hospital.  She loved it!  She took her doll and learned how to swaddle and put on a diaper.  We also took a tour of the maternity and nursery area.

Then we got to stop by Amy's Ice Cream for a treat since it was just the two of us.

BJ repaired a hand me down Barbie Jeep from some friends.  The girls have had a lot of fun driving it!  They could use some driving lessons.

We spent Thanksgiving weekend in San Angelo, and we had a great time visiting with family.

Papa dressed up like Santa, and Jenna was ok with that

but she wouldn't go on the buggy because she was scared of Trix, the horse.  Silly girl.

Jenna has always loved Mamma- she runs right to her, talks to her, and sits with her.  So precious.

Catching up on Facebook with Neeme before bed.

Josh is always so sweet to read to and play with the girls.

36 weeks pregnant!

Jenna moved to a big girl bed, and she has done great!  This was the first night- ready for bed.

Crashed out about 20 min later, and she didn't even get out of the bed.  Yay!

Sydney often sleeps with her teddy right on her face, but this night she fell asleep with her slippers on her face.  Too funny.

Extra shots from the Christmas card photo shoot.  It's amazing that we got any good pictures, because this was right at naptime, when I made them change clothes and take pictures (what was I thinking?!?!).

Sydney is always so expressive

The girls LOVE playing with their dolls right now.  They play together really well (most of the time).

BJ put all of the baby gear (swing, bouncy seats, glider, etc) in the baby's room for the time being.  The girls have spent HOURS playing in their with all of their dolls and about 12 blankets.  And they even put the Elf in there too to keep baby company.

Trip to see Santa at our church, nice and low key... Jenna still wasn't having it.  She was only on his lap for a second.

My office building has these cheesy Christmas card scenes in the lobby.  Sydney ran up to the office with me one day, and she wanted to take some pictures.

Sydney's daycare class took a trip to a nursing home to sing Christmas carols.  She has elf ears on but you can't really tell.  Her favorite song is "Feliz Navidad".

Next up.... baby pictures!  And Christmas!  Hopefully in that order.  :)

October Fun

I almost got this posted only one month late!  October came and went, with lots of fun events.  We picked out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch.

We went to Sea World.  The girls had so much fun!  Sydney rode all of the rides she was able to, and Jenna was even able to ride this one.

SO excited, even while waiting for lunch!

Both loved the carousel

Silly face while waiting for Sydney on a ride

No nap for the kids since we stayed all afternoon.  Jenna fell asleep on the way to the hotel, and about 5 min after this picture, started throwing up a LOT.  Fun weekend cut short- we packed up and headed back home that night!

Pumpkin carving time!  Sydney was more interested in helping this year.

Making angry faces like the jack o lantern

Good job, BJ!  Thanks for indulging me.  I don't want to carve them but like to have them around!

Happy Birthday, Sydney!!!!  Four years old- so hard to believe.  It was a school day, so we had muffins for breakfast together with a candle, balloons, decorations, and BJ got her some flowers.  She was so happy.

Sydney picked out this pin at the party store to wear to school on her birthday.  She loved it!  Too funny.

She got to pick a restaurant for dinner that night- and she picked Jason's Deli!

New doll clothes

Happy Halloween!  Sydney insisted on wearing her orange Halloween tshirt under her Cinderella costume.  Nice!

The girls had so much fun trick or treating with neighborhood friends.  These kids are all getting so big, and the group grows a bit each year.

Sydney was in candy heaven.  When we were hanging out after trick or treating, we let her eat what she wanted.

Sydney's birthday party was at The Little Gym. It was her first "friends" party, and it was great.  She had so much fun.

Happy Birthday to our sweet 4 year old!  She is such a good kid and a great sister.  Her emotions run strong in either direction, but she has so much joy and excitement about everything.  Sydney loves to be on the go!
