Finally... videos posted of Sydney walking! This week I had two different work trips, plus Sydney was sick for three days, so things were pretty crazy around here. She will walk when we get her to, but she still won't just get up and go. I'm sure it won't be long though!

This is what we did ALL week- walk around with Sydney! She was so ready to walk but just wouldn't do it. Then she finally walked when we got home on Sunday- very exciting! Video of the walking to be posted soon.

Quick Update

We haven't taken a lot of pictures lately since I've been working a lot. But I'm sure we'll have many more to come this week as we catch up on visiting with friends and family.

We had a sitter a couple of weeks ago, and Sydney didn't really take a nap. She fell asleep in her high chair at 6pm, something she has never done!

Action shot- she has been pushing her new stroller and baby all over the house.

And if the stroller isn't around, might as well push the chair!

What a fan! Thanks to Neeme (BJ's mom) for making this super cute outfit so Sydney can cheer in style!

Happy 1st Birthday!

Sydney turned one on Friday, and we spent the weekend in San Angelo to celebrate. The last year has gone by so quickly. Thanks to everyone for all of the help, love, and support over the year. Sydney is such a fun little girl- if you haven't seen her lately, come by to see her cuteness in person!

Movin, Movin, Movin!

Sydney is constantly on the move these days. She isn't walking yet, but crawls so fast, and cruises around holding onto something. We can hardly keep up!

She likes to crawl holding onto small toys- either these shape things or the rings from a stacker. Too funny! If she wants to take something she can't hold onto, she just puts it in her mouth like a dog. I still need to get a pic of that!


We keep the exersaucer in our bathroom so that I can attempt to contain her when she wakes up and I'm still getting ready in the mornings. I put Cheerios in a little cup in it to keep her happy. Well, she knows the Cheerios are always there, so sometimes when she's crawling around the house, from kitchen to playroom, she'll just detour to our bathroom to help herself to a little snack!


She can walk with this toy really well now, even on the tile floor. Thanks to Donna/ Dara for the hand me down!

Sydney was such a big "helper" today when I was doing laundry, repeatedly taking all of the dirty laundry out of the basket before I could get it into the washing machine.
