Sydney's Baptism

Sydney was baptized on Sunday, June 21, at Sierra Vista in San Angelo. She was sick that day, so she wasn't in a very good mood much of the day, as you can see in the pictures below! Despite that, she was great during the actual baptism, and it was a very special day. Thanks to all the friends and family who joined us.

Happy Father's Day to BJ! Sydney is always a Daddy's girl, but she was even more so this weekend. She even started saying Da da on Saturday! I told BJ I arranged that as his present.

Tony and Jill are Sydney's godparents- she is a lucky girl! We sure appreciate them being there for the day.

Family Reunion and Isn't She Cute!

This weekend was Sydney's first Kirking Family Reunion, held in Fredericksburg this year. We all had a great time! Jane got Sydney a special shirt/outfit.

Sydney finally decided Papa was cool to hang out with.

There were plenty of people to entertain Sydney- always someone to hold her and a finger to chew on!

Seriously, could this baby be any cuter??? I know, I'm just a little biased. Sydney was in a great mood all weekend and when we got home yesterday.

Here's a video of Sydney laughing and playing with BJ. Again the quality isn't the best- I still haven't charged up the video camera so I had to use the regular camera. It's about 45 seconds.

I've had trouble finding 12 month size footie jammies, so I bought these. Sydney looks like such a big girl in them! Where is our baby going???

Happy 7 Months

Worn out after a long day

We're trying to stop swaddling Sydney to sleep, so we're doing one arm out now. She looks so funny with one arm flailing about- BJ calls her the One Armed Bandit.

Sydney had fun playing with Caroline when she visited for a couple of days.

Now that Sydney can sit up, she can play with more "advanced" toys.

Lately Sydney has been smiling with her lips clamped shut- once the camera comes out, it's harder to get a real smile from her. We end up with a lot of pictures that look like these:
