Playdate Fun

I had a few days off this week, so we were able to get together for a couple of playdates with some other October babies!

Happy Mother's Day and Sitting Up

We had a great Mother's Day, although we were busy unpacking. My mom was here so that was nice.

Happy 6 Months

Sydney turned 6 months old this week. She is 16 lbs, 1 oz now- 50% weight, 50% height, and 90% head size. And 100% cute!!!

Sydney pretty much went on a food strike, until we gave her rice cereal this weekend, which she loved.



But she wasn't too happy to see Papa right away, so he had to keep his distance while she enjoyed her dinner!

Neeme accessorized Sydney up. "Look at me, I'm so cool!"

Sydney was looking at BJ's knee, like "Yummy, I'm gonna eat it!"

Then she did!

We spent the weekend packing- moving day is this Friday. As expected, Sydney was lots of help.

First Food

Sydney had her first solid food today- avocado. She loved it, just like we thought she would. We aren't getting the high chair out until we move, so for now we'll feed her in the Bumbo.

We put her in the swing at the park for the first time today. She loved it- laughed and laughed.

Happy Easter

A little late! Sydney's first Easter was a lot of fun, although by Sunday she was a bit cranky from being out and about all weekend.

Mam ma helped Sydney with the Easter egg hunt so she could keep up with her cousins.

I ordered a hairbow headband but it didn't come in before the weekend, so we took a picture when we got home.

Happy 5 Months

Sydney was five months old this week!


Chillin in the Mustang- she's picturing herself cruising in it when it's all fixed up.


Look Mommy, I escaped! We're still swaddling to sleep, but this is how I usually find her in the morning or after a nap.

Sydney is ready for summer!
