Lake Weekend

Two weekends ago we went to Summer's lake house with three other couples and six kids age three and under. We had a great time! Lots of pictures, most of the kiddos.

The kids, I mean the guys, had fun with the slip and slide! It turned into a competition- BJ thought the victor should be on the featured video. Congrats to Beau for winning the water slide luge!

New Tooth and New Carseat

Sydney can pick little pieces of food up to eat now, and she loves turkey.

Happy Birthday to Me

Last week I turned 30! We celebrated at home on Thursday and went out for dinner as a party of 3 on Saturday. Anyone want to babysit so we can have a proper night out??? Just kidding, hopefully in the next month or so we'll round up a sitter. BJ (and Sydney) did a good job on the birthday festivities. Once again all I asked for was for Sydney to sleep all night... didn't happen. Maybe for Christmas.

Happy 4th of July and First Swim

This was Sydney's first 4th of July. Our friends Jesse and Emily were here for the weekend with their baby. Fun times for all!

Happy 8 Months and First Tooth

Sydney is 8 months old this week! Her first tooth popped out last Thursday! I'm still trying to get a picture of the tooth.

Sydney has been sticking her tongue out all the time lately

BJ was throwing plastic rings up to the top of the living room ceiling, and Sydney was laughing like crazy. This went on for at least ten minutes, and I caught the tail end of it on video. This clip is about a minute.

Then she went over to eat the couch. What a nut. She will really be on the move before we know it though.

Sydney's Baptism

Sydney was baptized on Sunday, June 21, at Sierra Vista in San Angelo. She was sick that day, so she wasn't in a very good mood much of the day, as you can see in the pictures below! Despite that, she was great during the actual baptism, and it was a very special day. Thanks to all the friends and family who joined us.

Happy Father's Day to BJ! Sydney is always a Daddy's girl, but she was even more so this weekend. She even started saying Da da on Saturday! I told BJ I arranged that as his present.

Tony and Jill are Sydney's godparents- she is a lucky girl! We sure appreciate them being there for the day.
