Girls' Weekend

BJ was out of town last weekend, and Sydney and I had a fun weekend! I'm a little late posting about it- busy week.


Katherine and John David had a cross country track meet near our house, so we went to watch them run (or watch JD- missed Katherine!). Sydney had a great time hanging out and people watching (and dog watching).

We went to Barnes and Noble to buy a gift, and Sydney was in awe with the number of books.

Sydney recently discovered her nose- and realized she can stick her finger in there!

Misc

We enjoyed a visit with Mom for a few days last week.

Of course we had to get Amy's Ice Cream and check out the cows in the Arboretum. Sydney was a little unsure about the cows!

BJ was reading his Texas Longhorn Football magazine with Sydney. The lighting was bad, but I thought this was too cute to leave out!

We found this Fisher Price Learning Home on Craig's List for a great price. Sydney loves it- it's just her size, and she can do her two favorite activities, open/close the door and turn the lightswitch off and on, til her heart's content!

Date night!!! Liza came over to hang out with Sydney, and BJ and I went to Ruth's Chris for a belated birthday dinner for him and to celebrate our anniversary. Thanks, Liza!

"Sick" Day

Last Tuesday Sydney had a fever at the end of the day, so she couldn't go to daycare on Wednesday. But of course, that morning she was totally fine and super happy all day!

Sydney figured out how to open a cabinet that we had some toys in- great fun to take everything out, then get in!

It was a little chilly that day, and I put socks on her for the first time in months. She took her socks off and carried them around half the day!

This shows off Sydney's 4 teeth, especially if you click to see it larger. I think another tooth is on the way in now too. She was holding this doll, and I asked her to give the baby a hug, and instead she bit its foot. Ha!

Happy Birthday, BJ!

BJ's birthday was Sept. 12. This is the only picture I took! There was cake and presents with just the three of us, and we ended up watching the UT game that afternoon with some friends. Fun day!

Labor Day Weekend in San Angelo

Wow, it has been a while since I updated the blog! We have been really busy. We spent Labor Day weekend in San Angelo, but I wasn't very good at taking pictures. Lots of family time!

We started off trying to get a picture of the great grandkids with Nannie, Pa and Mam ma. No easy task with three kids age 2 and under!
