Happy 4th, Jenna's Birthday, My Birthday, and More!

Jenna's birthday present was a sand and water table, which Sydney loves too. Jenna wasn't too crazy about the sand at first!

More fun on the water side!

Jenna's wrinkly nose smile- she does this all the time. So cute!

At dinner most evenings, one of us will say, "Who had a good day today?" and we will all raise our hands and say, "Me, I did!". In June Jenna started raising her hand too. She was so excited to join in.

Happy Fourth of July! We just enjoyed a weekend at home after being so busy in June.

The Fourth wouldn't be complete without watermelon

Sydney has really been into pretending with her dolls lately

When we were out shopping, Sydney tripped on a gravel sidewalk and hit her forehead really hard. Luckily she was ok, just a giant goose egg.

Jenna loves playing peek a boo!

Sydney took swim lessons in June, which we considered successful since our expectations were low for a two year old. She does great with her Puddle Jumper on, and does a little without it.

Trying on a new hat from Liza (looks great with her pj's!).

Jenna's actual birthday- July 6! Happy first birthday, sweet girl. We are so blessed to have her as part of our family, and we can't imagine life without her. We are looking forward to seeing her personality come out more over the next year. She is laid back most of the time, but she definitely lets us know when she gets mad. She thinks Sydney is the coolest person in the world. Sydney likes to boss Jenna around, so all should be well as long as Jenna does what she wants!

Talking on Daddy's phone

My birthday- July 9. Birthday cake at home, and then BJ and I went out for dinner. Sydney loves any celebration, so she blew out the candle for me. She brought out my wrapped gift, handed it to me and said, "Here Mommy it's your new camera!". Ha ha ha! She's still learning about surprises!!!

Jenna crawls like this sometimes, like a little crab

Jenna climbed up on this chair, and she was so proud of herself. Unfortunately she didn't know how to get down!

One evening we were getting ready to go for a walk. Sydney only had a shirt on, so she put on pajama pants and gold sandals. Nice... Just when we were leaving she said she needed to get one more thing-

A hat so the wind wouldn't blow her hair! BJ and I were trying so hard not to laugh. A toboggan is a perfect accessory when it's 100 degrees outside. She actually wore this on most of the walk, and she didn't think there was anything wrong with that!
