We've had a fun and busy month or so at our house! Wyatt is growing so quickly, and the girls keep us on our toes as always. I can't help but take a lot of pictures of Wyatt, so there are a bunch here.
We love it when Liza comes to visit! Sydney photo bombed this picture of Liza and Wyatt, and she thought she was so funny.
Sydney made this at school around Valentine's Day. It says "I love you because........" I guess she couldn't think of any reasons why she loves us! Ha ha.
A rare picture of all three kids. It is nearly impossible to get a picture of them together!
Wyatt enjoys bathtime now. Love the double chin!
Happy 2 months, Wyatt (Feb 27)! He was alert longer, and started smiling more although it was still hard to catch on camera. His hair started growing in on top again, and he was holding his head up pretty well. He still woke up 1-2 times per night.
Jenna is still so sweet to Wyatt.
They look alike in this picture!
Big smiles for Granny. He was "talking" to her a lot.
Sydney looooves to color, especially if someone will sit with her.
We had visits from both grandmas in the same day- Granny left one morning, and Neeme came that afternoon. The kids loved it!
Sydney took this picture- not bad!
The weather has been so nice lately. The girls love to feed the ducks at the pond in our neighborhood.
On this Sunday afternoon, the ducks weren't interested in our bread and just walked away. I guess they were holding out for something better than wheat bread. The girls were disappointed!
Poor Wyatt has been on many trips to Target. His carseat takes up a lot of room in basket so I have to pile things up around him!
Time for a comparison picture! Here are all three kids at about 3 months old:
Wyatt
Sydney
Jenna
Sweet sleeping baby
Another visit from Liza
Everyone has a baby
The girls like to give Wyatt company. Poor guy will be surrounded by dolls for a while.
This is Sydney's fake smile for pictures lately
And Jenna's cheesy picture smile, sticking out her teeth.
Happy 3 months old, Wyatt (March 27)! He found his hands, so he chews on them all the time. He is smiling a lot and making lots of baby sounds. He started sleeping all night at about 2.5 months old.
Look at that chin dimple! We finally figured out that the chin dimple comes from my grandfather on my dad's side.
We decided to do some minor remodeling and jumped right into it. I have been watching a lot of HGTV while on maternity leave! We had not done anything to the inside of the house since we moved in 4 years ago, and this was our first real project together. It was fun! Probably because I made a couple of decisions and BJ did all the work! Here is the fireplace in the living room before. There were granite tiles around the fireplace.
BJ did all the demo work, which took a couple of hours of very loud banging
while Wyatt slept in the swing in the living room the entire time!
BJ built out the wall a bit
Then put up a new mantle and had ledgestone put up.
And finally he painted the wall. Looks great and we love it! BJ is so handy- I'm lucky.
In the kitchen, BJ replaced the appliances with stainless steel, including a double oven. He also took off the backsplash (was granite), replaced the sheetrock, and had the tile put up.
It looks so much better now!
