Franklin BBQ

Who wants to spend all morning waiting in line for lunch?  We do, when it's for the top rated BBQ restaurant in Texas!  We finally broke down and made the pilgrimage to Franklin Barbecue in East Austin.

We went with our friends Josh and Dana, and three of the four of us took the day off from work.  No kids!  We arrived at 8:45am.

Three hours later, the guys were carefully supervising the meat cutting at the counter.

Six pounds of perfection- and this was just for BJ and me.

Wait, is that a tear running down BJ's face?  Verdict is- best. brisket. ever.  We had so much fun.  Thanks, friends for a fun day.  We will definitely go again!
